Can I import Flash movies into iMovie?
If so what format do I need to use?
I have tried most formats, can't seem to make it happen.
Thanks,
Bob

QuickTime Pro is well worth the $30. If you buy it (or already have it) then here's what you do:

Open the exported (.swf) flash movie in the Quicktime Player (supports up to Flash 4...if you are having problems, make sure you export in flash 4 or lower format).

Then, select Export. From the list of what to export to, select "Movie to DV Stream."

When the file is done exporting (it will be a very large file), put it in the "media" folder of your iMovie project. The next time you start iMovie, it will see the new file in the folder, and ask if you want to put it on the shelf. Say "yes" or OK or whatever, and there it is.

For you folks keeping score at home, you can do this with any format that QuickTime can open/import.
