Which is better, Final Cut Pro or Adobe Premiere? What are the major differences between them? Also, can you use a ZR10 with Adobe Premiere? The Adobe website mentions the Elura but not the ZR10.

Final Cut Pro is much better.
Premiere is a dinosaur. DV in Premiere feels more like an afterthought than anything else.
As long as the ZR10 is a DV camcorder it will work with both.
Really, I have used both for DV work and Final Cut Pro is, although frustrating at times, a very well thought out program with many compelling features.
Good luck.

Dude, pay the extra money and get FCP. I have premiere and I hate it. I use Imovie2 moreso that premiere. It's interface is horrible, but then again I"m a relative beginner. I heard many good things about FCP so hopefully I can get it soon.

FCP all the way. it is much more intuitive than Premiere. Premiere 6.0 is much better then 5.1 but still leaves much to be desired. FCP is not the best DV software but for the price it can't be beat.

Final Cut Pro is way more stable, I got so frustrated with preimere I went out and shelled out the $1000, and I'm happy I idid. Version 5.0 of Premeire brought more bugs than fixes, version 5.1, the supposid bug fix needed 3 more appendixes(5.1a,5.1b,5.1c) to get it running, and it still didn't have the device controll that final cut pro has.

I would have thought the first answer to your question would be another question ie: what exactly do you want to do with your system?
I use both FCP (which was a dog until 1.2.5 remember) and Premiere 5.1c, there are some things I actually choose to do in good ole Premiere 4.2. Pissing contests about whether what I have is better than what somebody else has are inane, I mean you don't want to enter such a contest if the target is an electric fence, right?
