Converting QT movies to DV STREAM

Is there any way to convert quick time movies to DV streams for use in iMovie without using QT PRO? I seem to remember something about a free converter, but can't seem to locate anything.

Try a Google or a VersionTracker search, but I think you'll find that the QTPro solution is the best.
