From Adobe:

Using Adobe Premiere 6.0 and Mac OS X
Adobe Premiere currently does not offer native support for Apple's new Mac OS X operating system. Premiere 6.0 also will not work in Mac OS X under Classic mode, since Apple does not make the FireWire port available to the application in Classic mode. Adobe currently plans to offer native support for Mac OS X in a future release of Premiere.

Don't count on anything until 7.0. I would now move to Final Cut Pro 3 if I were you... It's the standard now...

yeah.... I just got FCP3... but I also wanted to get the Adobe Digital Video bundle that has Photoshop, Illustrator,AE 5.5 and Premier... Premier is the only one left that doesn't offer native support for X. Not that I'd use it much, if at all....but it would be nice to have.

regards...
