I am trying to produce some QuickTime based product training movies of various appliations. Basic idea is that I will be using an application (say a web browser) and I want to "record" all of the actions that I do--menu buttons clicked, etc.)

I am looking for a way to output the screen to a DV camera. I have beeb using SnapzPro and it does a pretty good job, though it stores everything in memory first and gets a bit slow (again, I believe do to the fact it is holding so much data in memory). I'd rather output directly to a DV source, though I'm not too sure if this is even possible.

Any pointers would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!

What you can do is use a video-out equipped mac (like late Powerbooks/iBook) and connect it to the video-in (RCA/S-VIDEO)of your DV camera. Of course you'd need a DV-in capable Cam like the SONY DCR-PC100/110 or TRV500 etc. Good luck
