Hi...

I just bought a DVD player that also plays MP3's and JPG's(as a slideshow on the telly)...the DVD player will also recognize and play mpeg video, but not Quicktime.mov's...Is there a way to convert Quicktime.mov to .mpg?...

I'm using an original iMac, OS 9.2.2, Quicktime Pro 5.0.2...

Thanks for your help...Mark

EDit..i originalyl said mp3 video, but I meant mpeg..sorry

Unless I've had a stroke there isn't such a thing as .mp3 video. You might want to check the name of the file format again.

I have to back that up as well. MP3 stands for Mpeg Audio layer 3, and is not a video format at all. The unit may be trying to refer to itself as capable of playing mpeg 1 stuff, which would be what you find on VCDs...

Of course there is! QT Pro or iMovie do it for you. Have a look at your neighbour's thread
