I have Audion 2 and I want to know how to get cd file info through CDDB. I have followed the directions that came with Audion, but nothing happens. Anyone know how to do this?

Thanks,

Jeff

It should do it automatically if that is set in the preferences.
Or have you tried going to the Mode menu -> refresh info for this CD?
Try that.
What HAVE you tried, specifically?
BTW, that is for Audion 1.5. Not sure about 2. Which are you using? 2 I assume from your other post...

Thanks for the reply. Yea it is Audion 2. I have tried to refresh, but nothing happens. In the preferences I have tried all three options (always, never, and new only) for CDDB. I am able to use Toast to retrieve the CDDB info--but then I can't encode mp3 with Toast--so that doesn't help me. I have followed the Audion instructions on how to do this, but it doesn't work for me.

I don't use audion 2... but I suggest you to try iTunes from apple...
it encodes well and look the info into CDDB...

I suppose that it's not the kind of answer you were looking for but...
