	Running 8.1 on Beige G3. (Work computer, NO chance of an update) I�m having problems with my desktop pic. Some preference has gotten corrupt but can�t figure it out. Any help would be appreciated. Few weeks ago my desktop pic disappeared. Reinstalled my Quicktime 5.0.2, no help. I even reverted back to the version 3 from org. install disk. That worked. The reupdated to version 5.0.2. Gone again. Instead of a picture in the appearance control panel the box just shows pink. But the pattern show and no picture. I can activate a GIF or PICT file, and they work fine.
