I having a strange problem sync audio in iMovie. I have edited a music clip with audio sync perfectly in playback on screen, but when I export the clip into QT clip. The audio goes out of sync by around 2 seconds. How can I fix this and better still how does that occur.

i have same problem with qtime. even with new toast 5.01, the mpeg 1 files dont sync the audio up. i used to see posts about this a few months ago but ignored because i didnt have this problem. now we do....cipher13 where are you? help us out man.....

also, i had a problem where things looked great in Premiere, but the audio got further and further out of sync as time went on. it went from a silly school project to a silly badly dubbed godzilla movie.

anyway, the problem was that i was capturing video at 29.93fps (or whatever) and audio at 30fps (i know, audio doesn't have frames, but this is how whatever version of premiere i was using handled it.)
so check your settings and see how you're recording your audio.
