I made several VCD's from iMovie thru Quicktime export into Toast 5. Recently it does not work. The export starts, but quits without crashing after some time. I reinstalled quicktime and made sure all extensions are on. Could this be Quicktime 5.02? Would somebody please comment. Should I give up on VCD altogether and try DVD-R. The new EZQuest drive is out?Does anybody have experience with making DVD's.

Did you try reinstalling Toast? Have you updated to Toast 5.0.1?

Simple thing to try is to trash the QT preferences. I had weird problems with QT after an upgrade which were fixed by this.

Try deleting QT completely and going back to QT Pro 4... do you have QT 5 Pro?

I reinstalled Toast and everything now works. Thanks everyone
