This may be more of a question for a windows forum, but I'm wondering if anyone knows of any way to take all those movies in win media player format and convert it to any other format ie divx, mpeg4, .mov anything...!!!!
Can win media player export in different formats or is anyone with a windows media player video screwed?

MS doesn't want you to, but some guy reverse engineered the format and wrote a program (for windows) called VirtualDub that reads ASF files and writes AVI's. But since version 1.3d, MS made him take it out, so you have to find 1.3c or earlier. A couple of leads are in this discussion starting in the 16th post. good luck
