Please help. I need to convert Real Video to Quicktime. I can't get the code to work right with Real on embedding video into a HTML page. I've even been on the phone with Real's engineers and they can't figure it out so I'm going to do what I should have done in the first place, use QuickTime.
You can see what I'm talking about on my site: http://www.xyze.com/kc.htm and click on the link at the bottom of the page under the image. I could really use some advice; Real Video is a real pain in the @ss.

Thanks,
Giulio

if it helps, you can go take a look at my web page
http://homepage.mac.com/~gmattheis/movie_work.html

to see <embed> tags in action. I got my resource from Apple's website (of all places) the link to the embed section for quicktime is
http://www.apple.com/quicktime/authoring/embed.html

I hope this helps. I can only see one problem with this, I haven't really had the time to debug my website code, but I can't seem to get it to work on windoze machines. I don't know if quicktime for windows doesn't like the <embed> tag or what, but i'm still working on what to do, you may want to do some testing, see what works.

The only way I know of is to use Cleaner 5 and do a "lossless conversion" to QT. I haven't tried it myself, but it supports RM files, so that should do it.

Thanks for you help guys. Who makes Cleaner 5 memento? Do you have a URL to their company or an name? That would be great because I can't find that.

Thanks

http://www.terran.com

It also gives you detailed control of anything you create with it (codec settings, that is).
