I have been successfully using Peak LE and Toast for burning CDs.
Is there a program for editing the wave spectra to remove pops and clicks? I know there are some heavy-duty ones( expensive), but are there any shareware or freeware ones?
Thanks.

Yes, ProTools free at Digidesign.com. They offer a free 8 track digital audio editor which is very good on the Mac. Otherwise I like using Soundedit 16 by Macromedia.($300)

While I like and use SoundEdit 16 as well, please be aware that the program hasn't been updated in 4 years. And, according to a Macromedia support page they will never updated it (no carbonized version, ever).
