Hello all. I need some help working with VCDs...mostly making them. I had bookmarked a site that someone had said was good once upon a time, and when I looked at it 2nite, the pages were in some garbles weird kind of font, so....there goes that idea. Anyways, I have toast titanium, and in it there is an extension so that in quicktime you can export a movie as a vcd file for toast. However, when I try to do this, with about 99% of the files I tried, it gave me an error saying that there was an invalid track found, and the operation couldn't be performed. Does anyone have any other ways of doing this, or maybe what I'm doing wrong? I'd really like to get these files on a VCD format, so any help pertaining to VCDs is most greatly appreciated. Thanks!!!

I can't really help... I haven't used iMovie to export to MPEG... are there any areas to set export options?

Do you have access to Media Cleaner? Thats what I use to do all my MPEGs for VCD use...

You should be able to export to toast VCD, through QT Pro. You even have an option for it to open toast for you when done. Seems weird that it's not working for you.

What are your source files?

I'm trying it with some mpegs (music videos) that I have downloaded. I just get that error saying that it contains some invalid track. Don't know what that means. Anyone know of any other software I might be able to get this done with?

If the file is an mpeg 1 music video it's already in VCD format. Just pop it into your toast ti. Select VCD from the "other" drop menu. Select the file. Name it. and burn
