Newbie to Quicktime.
What can I use to add a narration to a quicktime movie. I want to be able to be watching it on the screen and then record audio with a microphone. This is for making online tutorial files.

Thanks

You should be able to use iMovie to record a narration and then export the final product as a QT. I think you need QT Pro to export your mov file as a DV stream and drop it into the iMovie project folder. iMovie will ask you on startup of iMovie if you want to use the stray clips and you should be able to see the clips. It's been a while since I did this in iMovie so I may have been a little off in explaining the process but it should work OK.

I don't know about the actual recording, but once you have an audio file and a video file, you can add them together in Quicktime Pro with the Add command in the edit menu

Can you use Peak, Deck or some other program to do this?
