Am now completely freaking out . Just trying to get a very simple Photo convert, resize, save program for
my mom here. You know, so she can get the eMailed photos from the brother , download, save, resize ( if
need be ) , and send them to friends in a viewable format. Graphic Converter seems too complicated. I've tried
and tried everything with AppleWorks 5.03 ( got a 68K ) in the " paint " mode but it won't deal with photos
in anyway. The one's I'm trying to open are in JPeg View format, Jade 9Pict & JPeg) , and Graphic
Converter. Nothing, won't even show up in the "file" "open" menu box. Then there's Quicktime picture
viewer.. which ( far as I can tell) will not give me a "save" option. I've redownloaded 3.02 ( I think , again
68K ) and installed . What does Quicktime do anyway ? When I click on what seems to be an application for
it , it just says " this adds... etc... put in extensions" but it is in extensions. Can't find any help on the web
about this. For some reason the help files don't work. Must be missing some point here, or some essential
software. I've turned back on all my extensions in " Extensions Manager ". still nothing. Why is all of this
so much easier on my friend's PC ?
I've got an old LC 630, 68K, OS 8.1 , 12MB (20VM ) . Don't get " not enough memory " warnings though.
Any help gloriously appreciated ,

Marty
