Sony Spressa USB+ (CRX100E/120) and iTunes v1.1 here. Though the Apple site does not mention comptability with this drive, i have managed to determine that including the Toast USB driver in one's extension set along with the standard iTunes extensions *will* enable one (after multiple off/on toggles of the drive) to mount CDR/RW's on the desktop and burn data CDs successfully with Disk Burner.

The funny thing is that the iTunes searches and searches for the drive when it is connected and turned on, but finds it immediately when it is turned off and/or disconnected. Any ideas as to why?

Also burning audio CDs with Disk Burner just locks iTunes up until the drive is off/disconnected. Very strange. Any reason why data burns would be successful when audio burns fail.
