Ok, so I took a 90 minute movie and broke it down into the chapters that I wanted to be able to select on the dvd. I exported them from FCP as mpeg 2 files with a bitrate of 8.0 and that gave me a folder full of .m2v and .aif files. The folder with all the files that I need is a total of 1.5gb. No problem so far.
Now I go to DVD Studio Pro and make my chapters and by the time I'm about 3/4 of the way through, it says that my dvd is full!
I thought that the exported .m2v / .aif files are what DVDSP uses to make the dvd? How can I be over the size limit for the dvd? The disk is set to 4.7gb. What am I doing wrong?
