itunes kills my mac every time I select preferences or if I hit the burn button. It just freezes right up. (Works just fine 100% of the time if I don't do these 2 things)

Any ideas?

I have tried all the usual tricks;

allocate more memory, extensions off, reinstall i tunes, different startup volume, different os extensions on, customise extensions, do the okeycokey etc.

I am running a g3 300/64MB with 9.0.4 and 9.1
and this happens with iTunes 1.0 and now 1.1

Help, I want this to work so I can find out if my Ricoh MP9060 DVD/CDRW works
