I am taking a multimedia class in school in which we learn and use photoshop. the Gateway system at school runs windows NT, and Photoshop 5.5. I have a G4 9.0.4 and run photoshop 6. I would like to do work both here and tke t to school. Does anybody know of a way to do this?? if so how?? I have a zip drive, and so does the comp at school, but the disks I have are Mac formated. do they sell duel, mac, windows foemated disks??? any help would be much appreciated.

Format your ZIP disk as a PC disk. This way you can read it on both systems. When you save your file, make sure it always has the proper .PSD file extension.

When you edit the file on your mac, make sure you don't use any PS 6 only features like the new vector based layers, layer group folders, etc.. Otherwise you'll lose all of that information when you open it up on the pc running 5.5. To make things easier, it'd be good if you had a mac copy of 5.5 hanging around just for fun.
