I think that QT4.0 is 68K compatible and 4.1 (and up) are PPC Only, does anyone know if this is true or not?

Yes, or at least that's what it says on Apple's website. 4.1 requires a PPC, and 4.03 is available for 68k machines. The 68k version also doesn't require an internet connection during installation, so I guess you download the whole installer.
