I've posted a topic about this before... and I never really got a response that was helpful.
I like to listen to music at GUITARadio.com and the sound quality is pure crap... I have no problems listening to music with RealPlayer 7. I've tried using different HTTP and RSTP settings in the QT control panel and it still doesn't work properly. Also, streaming video is bad in QT. I've tried increasing memory to QT Player; didn't help. PLEASE HELP!

My specs:
iMac Rev. B
192MB w/VM (193MB) turned on
56K connection to Internet

no one has responded because no one has a pat answer or even an answer you'd want to hear.

you have configured the Streaming Transport section of the QT Settings as best you can with the best info you have.

you should realize there are so many variables here. your proximity to the streaming server, your connection to the internet (and i note you only have 56k connection), etc...

have you tried the newest version QT 4.1.1 just released today?
