After installing itunes2 the help link is broken for all users except my Admin user. I also tried to install the software as another user and the link is still broken. I receive the message: "The search could not be completed because the Apple Help Preferences are Damaged".

Has anyone an idea how to remedy this problem?

Thanks

Ooh, spooky timing. I noticed this myself last night. I think it's a permissions thing because logging in as administrator the help files come up fine.
In <user>\Library\Preferences\Apple Help Prefs\ there are shortcuts to the various help folders. These exist with the application packages. So the shortcut should point to a subfolder within iTunes.app but it seems the iTunes installer didn't turn a permissions switch somewhere ...I think.

iTunes 2.0.2 does not fix this because I noticed this problem with this version.
