How do I create a DVD?

I recently purchased a Lacie superdrive for my Powerbook G4. It came with no mac software. I am looking for some software to make movies on DVD. I just have some homke movies I've made with iMovie and I want to burn them on DVD so I can watch them on DVD players. DVD Studio Pro is too expensive and too complicated for me. I don't want to create fancy DVDs. iDVD sounds perfect but it doesn't support external drives. Does anyone know of anything that will suit?
