I am just starting to use iDVD2 and read that you can burn up to 90 minutes of video, however past 60 minutes the compression goes from 8 Mbps to 5 Mbps. How does the quality compare?

Unless you have clear reasons for needing 90mins of footage I would keep below the 60!
