I just got a Sony miniDisc recorder (MZR-700).

The manual says that if you record songs that are played through a "juke box" application and if the songs have names, these names will be transferred as well.

Well, I did that with iTunes and with the PC Link (for a full digital transfer) but even though the songs record as advertised, the names are not tranferred. I have to rename the songs manually in the minidisc which is a royal pain.

Does anyone know if there is something special that needs to be done for this to work? Or is there a better forum to ask this type of question?

if the player's manual (or apple's itunes website) doesn't specifically mention mac os 9/X support, then don't count on getting file name transfers.

I am running it under OS X 10.1.4 if that makes a difference.
