Just what the title says.
A Web search turns up a ton of stuff for PC but nothing for Mac.
What I want to do is rip 3 or 4 SouthPark episodes to VCD, then use the scanned box cover as a menu (the box cover has the episode names on it and would make a great menu).
Preferably in 9, but I'll switch to X if I must. I don't have access to a PC or VPC.
Thanks,
C.

search versiontracker for VCD BUILDER, a very nice tool, ´cause it has a gui for producing (s)vcds with menus.

scan your booklet and put it as a jepg in vcd builder.
your 5 episodes has to be in mpg2 format.
"connect2 your menu with the 5 mpgs.
vcdbuilder will create .bins, you´re able to toast.

that´s it!

very nice tool!

a little tricky, read the manual!!!

I tried VCD Builder and it looks great but doesn't work. It says my mpgs are not VCD compliant but I know they most definitely are. I made them with Cleaner 5.1.2 with the Toast compatible VCD setting and have burnt them successfully with Toast. They play on my DVD player, and with QuickTime and MacVCD on my computer. But..... I can't make menus with Toast. Can I???

I've also tried VcdGearX and GNU vcdtoolsX 1.1 and lordy are they a pain!

Still looking for a solution to make menus for VCDs...

Why don't you try making one MPEG-1 file without Toast compatibility. See if VCD Builder will accept the file.
