Just saw a CHEESY news promo for one of the news stations here in San Diego (CBS perhaps? Can't remember...) doing a "Special Investigative Action Eyewitness Live Eye in the Skycam" report (you know, with the gritty, serious voiceover, shaky camera work and ominous music...) about "girls and computers"...basically trying to raise a stink about the "alarming" disparity of boy geeks to girl geeks in the local school system, or some sort of earth-shattering expose along those lines...
ANYWAY, featured in this commercial were some deprived, pitiful-looking young schoolgirls sitting at a row of iMacs...strawberry, no less
, chosen , obviously, in an effort to coordinate with their CyberChick Barbie and Hacker Ken playsets, one would imagine.
