Has anyone experienced QT5 not working with 9.1? Has there been anything mentioned about incompatibilities between them? I have the latest QT5pr2 installed: at first, after startup, warning boxes told me that this beta version of QuickTime expired and that I need to get an updated one from Apple...but this is the latest as of today.
On another note, I've noticed a dramatic slowdown in accessing font menus in QuarkXPress 4.11 (I'm guessing this has to do with Suitcase and not Quark). Also, clicking on a picture box and then on a text box causes a long delay (I receive the little circular icon that spins for around 10 seconds).
Anyone have any thoughts on these? I realize that the solutions will come in the form of a new update to QuickTime as well as Suitcase but I thought I'd ask now...

Regarding your QT5 problem, I believe that OS 9.1 installs some QT 4.1 components, which may explain the warning boxes. Try re-installing QT 5.
Can't help with the other problems (don't have Quark or Suitcase)

If you're using MenuFonts, make sure you have the latest version of it; if you're also using Virex, try turning it off entirely or turning off the Scan When Opened and Scan At Download features. Virex seems to interfere with font menus in Quark 4.x and Suitcase 8-9.

QT5 on 9.1 hasn't been a lot of trouble, but I'd reccomend a clean install of Qt5, just goto uninstall first
|

I haven't had any trouble with QT5 yet but I have been getting delays in viewing jpg's that are attached with letters. I used one of the jpg's to place on my home page and even before I was done typing the system crashed. I 've had crashes a number of times while on the net. So I'm writing to let you guys know to be on the look out for these minor problems. Have anyone else had these problems yet?
