I have a Rev. A imac after updated to 9.1 and restarting it opens up in firmware and won't go any further. I zapped the PRam and now I get the firmware info and the question mark looking for a system folder. Anyone else had the same problem? It was on an IBM deskstar 18 gig drive. I had to go back to the original 4 gig drive to get this out. I know all my firmware is up to date. How do I get past the firmware screen? Thanks in advance for the help!

I have the exact same problem on my G4 DP 450 with an extra 128mb ram and an additional 20g hd. This happens whenever I do a restart, and I have to manually unplug the computer, wait about a minute, and plug it back in to avoid this dreaded screen. Any help would be appreciated!

Norton Speed Disk it! Re-bless the system folder if it restarts to the Flashing ? icon. Should solve your prob.
