Just going through OS 9 functionality to check what I will and will not miss in OS X I wondered: does anyone use Folder Actions?

Personally, I've never used them. How about others? If so, in what way?

Yes, I use folder actions, on a server. When a certain critical file is created, a backup is automatically made to another folder (in a password protected realm). This lets customers see their own file, but only staff can see the entire directory. No problems at all.
