I have an old Quadra that I would like to use as a simple web server. Is there something like the Web Sharing control panel from OS 9 that can be used on a 68040 Mac?
Web Sharing software is included with Mac OS 8 so try to do a custom install if it is not already installed. You can also try the free Quid Pro Quo program, search at http://www.versiontracker.com
Thanks for your help, Tintim. I checked my OS 8 CD, and Personal Web Sharing is there as a custom install option. I haven't tested it yet, but I assume that it will work on an '040 Mac.
