Did anyone else experience this today? (Monday 1/21)
All of the mac.com e-mail that was remaining on my server just downloaded itself to Entourage as NEW e-mail -- so I have like 50 duplicated e-mails in my "new" e-mail list.
I thought that it was just a hiccup with Entourage's data file or something, and then about 1/2 hour later, my OTHER mac.com e-mail account (I have 2) did the exact same thing.
I don't know everything about how e-mail works, but it's as if the data on the server was lost and then re-established. Because all of the e-mail that I had already retrieved is showing the icon that it has been removed from the server. Which it hasn't, because some is quite new.
Hardly the end of the world -- I just have to do some deleting -- but I wondered if this happened to many people, or if perhaps I am just the unlucky one. . . .
