I decided to load up OSX on my laptop and quickly discovered the slideshow screensavers. I particularly liked the nature theme and the space theme. In fact I liked them so much I wanted to extract some of the images to use as wallpapers. However, when I located the screensaver folder, they turned out to be actual files as opposed to individual folders full of pictures.

What I want to know is, is it possible to extract the pictures from the .slide files and turn them into jpegs.

Control-click on the saver, select "Show Package Contents."

And it's Desktop Pictures, not "wallpapers." Get it right, or use Windows!
