Help. I can't name my hard drive.

I work in a school and have one G3 all in one computer running on 8.1, and an iMac running 8.6. I can't change the names on the hard drives. They have been change before but now when I click on the name to get the cursor to show up it doesnt give me the option to type. What do I do? Thanks

Turn off file sharing and try it again.

Yeah, short of some security system, File Sharing must be turned on... switch it off, rename, then back on again.
