I wanted to buy one of those walkmen that can play mp3 on CD's. But I was wondering if the format itunes burns the cds in is generally recognized by cd players that play mp3.

Actually, I think you can only burn Audio CDs with iTunes (eh, that's Apple for 'ya). But if you delete all the resource forks and burn the disk as some Win-compatible format it will probably work. But please don't take my word for it, search the forum! Or wait for more replies.

Use "Disk Burner" in your Utilities folder. When you put in a blank CD, it asks you what kind of CD you want to make. MP3 CD is one of the choices. I think iTunes only makes Audio CD's.
