How can I make a shared folder that someone can get access to by signing on as a guest via apple talk? It was so easy to do in 9. How can I do it it 10? jthrasher0@aol.com

Heh. Turn on AppleTalk in System Preferences, then turn on File Sharing in System Preferences, then create a user for them. Yep, a whole user, not just a folder.

Funny how OS9 is more flexible even for tasks such as this, at which OSX was proclaimed to be superb

But hey, whatever. Maybe I'm wrong. Check the info (err, sorry, "inspector") window of a folder to see if there are sharing options... if so, make it a share point, and set yourself as the owner, and the other user as the 'user' for it.

Try the OSX forum next time. This one is for Classic MacOS questions.
