Every time I do a "Scan Folder For Damage" on my Mac OS 9 System Folder, I am told that "Login" appears to be damaged? Should I be alarmed? Who's fault is this, Casady and Green's, or Apple's?
Who's fault? No one's. It happens. Try doing a custom install of OS 9 and picking the components that are related to Multiple Users. I had issues with this new feature and finally diasbled it...I think it needs fixing.
Then it's APPLE's fault, if it needs fixing. And I'm talking about EVERY time I check it with Conflict Catcher 8.0.6, even AFTER I've supposedly "repaired" it. This is SOMEONEs bug to deal with. I just want to know exactly WHO's...
Files get corrupted for lotsa reasons, bad sectors on hard-drives, wear and tear etc. Another way of replacing it rather than invoking the installer is to download tomeviewer from Apple and you can extract the individual extension from the installer tome and just drop it in your extensions folder.
