Upgrading Quicktime in foreign language

Hi

I´m trying to upgrade Quicktime on my iBook with OS 9.1. But as I download the installer and doubleclick it, it ask me to remove Quicktime to install 5.0. It´s says this is because I currently run a different language than what I am installling. This is true, but I do not know what to do now. Can´t fint any help either on my computer or apple.com.

How do I uninstall Quicktime 4?
Or can I bypass this somehow?

This is a problem with QT, that you can't uninstall QT with another language installer. The solution is to manually remove the QT extensions + control panel from your System folder. Just go into your extensions folder and remove anything that starts with "Quicktime" and also the "Sound Manager" extension. Then remove the control panel and your ready to install.
