"OpenTransport 2.5:
OpenTransport 2.5 will contain updated core TCP and STREAMS implementations (MPS v. 3.3 and MTCP v. 3.5), improvements to DHCP support, and rwill reduce the number of library files required to run OT from 6 to 2. OT 2.5 will also boast support for MultiLink Multi-homing."

My question specifically is where is the MultiLink Multi-homing? I know there are several Third-Party products available to do this, but the AppleInsider article specifically mentioned this capability within the new Mac OS.

I mailed a general question to MacNN at least a month ago and still haven't received any type of response.

Does anyone know or really care?

Well, if it's in there, it's so well hidden it would qualify as an easter egg (and we all know how much Steve loves those!).

Mind you, info gleaned from rumour sites (even from ones as reputable as AppleInsiders) should be taken with a grain of salt.

I can detect no functional difference between whatever version of TCP/IP I have at home (with 8.6) and here at work (9.0). There are no cosmetic differences, either.

A quick shufty through the online help shows nothing regarding multilink, and multi-homing brings up all sorts of irrelevant stuff.

So, I guess the answer this time is wait for the next release.
