I have a new Powerbook that came loaded with OS 9 pre-installed.

So far, let me say, that OS9 seems to be the most stable OS I have ever used. Then again, it seems my luck runs opposite of everyone else's. I loved 7.6 on an LC 630. I hated a very crash prone OS 8.1 on and iMac Rev A. OS 8.5.1 has been more stable on the iMac. On my new Powerbook, I can safely say that I have had only one feeeze that required a force restart.

Anyway...

According to the Powerbook G3 Series Read Me dated September 28, 1999, there should be a USB Devices folder in the Apple CD Extras fold on the OS Install CD-ROM. It ain't there.

I'm guessing Apple forgot to update the ReadMe to take into account the MacOS 9.0 CD. It's likely just an editorial oversight.

However, the Read Me discusses several OS 9 topics. Checking some more, I found reference to this folder in the Mac Help Center.
