Something has changed on my computer (I don't know what), but it now takes file sharing over two minutes to startup when I reboot my computer.

Any Thoughts on why it's soooo sloooow. (I've trashed the file sharing preferences, so we'll see if that makes a difference.)

File sharing check the permissions on on the volumes you have shared...so if you have alot of stuff shared and slow hard disks it will increase the length of time it takes to start up. Check in the control panel to make sure you don't have any large volumes shared that you don't want shared.
Also check to make sure your AppleTalk connection is active and working if you want it to be since if the machine is searching for a network and cannot find one it will also potentially slow this process.
