Occasionally, usually after having muted the sound, my Pismo will crash during startup while loading the Apple Audio Extension.

Is there is fix for this? Can I disable the Audio Extension w/o losing functionality?

Did you try trashing the Sound preferences? Mine were bad on my Cube fresh out of the box, and again after I did a reformat and system re-install. Had to trash them to even boot. Worked fine ever since.

Go back to 9.1. Heh.

Downgrade the Audio vers, at least... its conflicting with QuickTime.
