Is this possible, usually I would have thought not, but this is an OS9.2.2 CD that comes/came in the OSX 10.1 upgrade CD pack (I have a copy of OSX 10.1), so I'm wondering if It's actually the full installer as oppossed to an upgrade CD only...?
Does anyone know, i.e. used it, as I can't try it before I buy it!

When I bought OSX, I formatted my drive, and I made 2 partitions, one with OSX and one with OS9, and reinstalled everything from scratch. I used the MacOS 9 cd which came with Mac OS 10.1 to install OS9, so I assume it's a full version…

however, I didn't have the OS 10.1 upgrade cd, but the full version.

Thanx for the reply but I simply copied over the system folder form my Cube (OS 9.2.2) on to one of to partions on my DP800 (the other for OSX for which I have a full insatll disk) and evrything worked fine.

The 10.1 free update pack includes the 9.2 update cd, that will only update a previous OS9 installation. Hence, the cd is not bootable so you won't install it in a formated HD.

The 10.1 'full' version pack that you can buy, includes the 9.2 bootable full install cd.
