if apple really want to be taken seriously about ease of use , digital hub , windows integration and all that crap , why can't i open pc files on my mac with total ease? avi , exe etc...

instead of rooting around the net etc , shouldn't it all be built in to the mac ?

Sorry, but that's not practical since Apple has such a small percentage of the market.

On the other hand, Microsoft has the marketshare and the money to make it happen, so let's put the incentive on them to integrate everything together...

MMMM, An .exe is a windoze program. I'm not going to give you explination ... it is too obvious. .AVI work on mac, the only avi that don't work natively are divx and you need a divx program and yes it is available to the mac platform.

make some search on the net before asking "stupid" question
An apple a day keep the Doctor Away :P
