MacOS 8.5/8.6 when I open Excel files

	I have a Power Mac 7200 running 8.6. 120MB RAM, 2 monitors, basic extensions (from Office 4.2.1, OS8.6, QuickDraw, Netscape and Mathematica stuff). When I go to open a new document, or save a document using Excel 5.0a, the screen redraw goes completely loopy. I can quit and reboot, but the screen stays all messed up, including the Menubar. I've read about others having this problem, but no one has posted a solution. Please be kind and help. Thank you and have a nice day.
