Just got my new iMac....How do I make a copy of a CD with just one burner...I have both DiskBurner and Toast.

My old system had a built in CD drive with an external burner.

Thanks for the help...I'm stumped

I'm assuming that your iMac has a burner built in. Grab an image of the CD using Toast and then burn the image from your disk. The catch with this is that you will need 650MB free on your hard drive.

Hmmnnnn... I haven't used Mac OS 9 in a while...

You should be able to make a DiskCopy image and burn it with either DiskCopy or Disc Burner (DiskCopy for Mac OS X will brun an image file).

Some Disk Copy versions in Mac OS 9 will burn image files.

Please dont post in multiple areas. Thanx. Anyways, use the Disk Copy feature in Toast. It will create a temporary image on your hard drive.

Yeah, rip it in Toast.

Disk Copy doesn't work in some instances (copy protection), and copying via Finder isn't a duplicate.
