After upgrading to OS 9.2.1 on a B & W G3, the desktop froze. Icons can still be clicked and work fine but they can't be moved. When the icons are draged they just sort of bounce back to their original position.

Weird, it works fine for me.
Try trashing Finder or System preferences, it might work.

i had this. i turned of True Finder Integration and that problem was solved. however, i still can't drag attachments into Eudora, or drag things from my library in Flash. there's a few other little annoying bugs too, but they're my main gripes. grr...

I just updated 9.1 to 9.2.1 and everytime it gets to the finder it locks up. I have the spinning wheel for a second and then everything just stops. I was so frustrated I wiped my HD and reinstalled everything just to have it happen again. I did find that I could boot 9.2.1 with extensions off, but no other way. What the heck is going on??

OK I think I figured it out. I found the problem is with the new CD/DVD extension in 9.2.1. I replaced it with the old one from 9.1 and now everything seems to be working beautifully.
