I have heard it can be done via applescript, but not knowing where to find already made one, I would like to know if there is a way I can find with Sherlock all the file starting from date in selected folder, so as to improve folder backup.
It used to be possible to say select only in folder, ubt I can't see it in Sherlock 2. Also, is there a way to tell sherlock to start a new search if I click twice command F? It used to be so, now I tend append my new query to the old one, instead of overwriting it.

In reference to your first question, I know that you can drag a folder into the Sherlock window, and then you can limit your search to just that folder.

Not sure about your 2nd question though.
