We are thinking about merging the Mac OS 9 forum with the Mac OS & System Software forum. If anyone thinks that this would be a bad idea, please let us know why.

We plan on recommending users denote what OS version they're using in the topic that they post.

This is all to make things a bit simpler

In my opinion, I feel OS 9 is still it's own beast with its own set of problems. I would give it a bit longer to get things worked out before adding it in with older OS's. Most of the problems with the older OS's have been worked out and fixes have been posted or work-arounds are readily available from many sources. People/companies are still having many unique issues with OS 9. I would wait until a bit after OS 9.0.1 is released and see what fixes are included and what solutions come down the pipe by then. Just my $.02 worth...

Mac OS & System might be better renamed to "older" or Pre-9.0.

Unless there isn't any traffic for 8.x and doesn't make sense to maintain separate forum.
